Textured Black And Gold Foil Edge Painted Letterpress Business Card

This beautiful letterpress printed business card uses the technique of blind printing to add a gorgeous texture to the background of the card. With this technique the printing plate is pressed into the paper with no ink on the plate so that an impression of the image is create in the paper. The effect is subtle but provides an interesting 3D element to the design which doesn't compete with the all important information on the card. The lettering has been hot foil stamped in gold and this along with the bright magenta edge painting stands out brilliantly against the matte black of the card stock.
