Textured Letterpress And Silver Edge Painted Illustrative Business Card Design

This business card design makes great use of contrast and manages to make a complex and busy illustration work very well. The very detailed illustration is on the back of the card and uses a limited colour palette which keeps the design from becoming poky or overwhelming. The charcoal colour scheme is taken over to the front of the card where the images here have been printed via a blind press so that only the imprint of the letterpress makes the image seen. This makes a great contrast to the back of the card and allows some very complex imagery to work well and not become too busy. The edges of the cars have been finished with matte silver edge painting.
