Subtle And Clever Use Of Texture On Block Colour Business Cards For An Architecture Firm

These cleverly designed business cards use a technique which is both subtle and striking - a mix which is difficult to pull off as an effect. The large "A" monogram on the front of the cards is made of small textured geometric motifs - a circle or triangle - reflecting the basic shaped which are frequently starting points for architectural design. The image seems to be emerging from the block colour background almost as an optical illusion yet it is very readable. The subtle texture has been created using hot foil stamping with a colour that matches the background but which has a shine which creates contrast.
