Photo Business Cards
There are a lot of decisions you need to make when creating your business cards. One of the big questions new business owners will decide is whether or not to use a photo or a graphic on the business card. Photography business cards are some what in trend.
There are three things you need to remember: Where are you distributing your cards? When will they be handed out? And who will you give them to? Basically, who are you potential clients and customers?
One example, many grocery stores will have a large bulletin board when you walk in. Many business owners will post one of their cards on that. Others will hand them out as they are networking with other people. This is more effective because there is no face to put with the business card. No personal contact and whoever is looking at the card won’t have much information about your company. Whereas, when you speak to people, they’ll have a sense of who you are and what your company does.
Now if your card is for your existing clients or customers, if you’re a hair stylist for example, you won’t have to use a lot of space on your card telling people what you do. They already know this information.
Once you’ve decided what information to add to your business card, you need to decide whether or not you want to add some type of photo, company logo or graphic. You don’t want this photo to be distracting or take away from what your company does. You don’t want the photo to take over the entire card, just a small space. But not too small that people can’t distinguish the photo on the card.
There are some things you will need to think about in terms of photos, logs, graphics and color in terms of your business cards.
You will build trust with your photo. You want to build a relationship with your clients and customers. Adding a photo will give your business card a personal touch. It will help people get more acquainted with your and your business. Trust and confidentiality is very important in business.
Adding your photo will also make it easier for people to remember you. A lot of owners will make most of their contact via e-mail and a lot of times people won’t know what you look like when they come in to meet with you. If they have a business card with your photo on it, they will recognize you right away.
The final advantage of using graphics and color is because it will make your business care more appealing. Black and white cards are boring and most of the time will end up in the trash. That’s that last thing and new business would want.
Take advantage of using logos, photos, graphics and color on your business cards. You want your card to stand out and be appealing on the eye. This will help your business stand out above the rest.
