DIY Hand Stamped Business Card Made From Recycled Street Posters

The designers at Murmure have a deep interest in street art and it frequently influences their design choices. With this project they designed their own set of business cards which used an unusual material for the card stock. It turns out that all those layers of street posters, when peeled off a wall, make a nice, thick sturdy card which can be cut into standard business card sized pieces. The random assortment of ripped and layered illustrations on the posters makes for a very interesting face for the cards. They then used a custom stamp to put their details on the backs of the cards, which, being the backs of the posters, were in more muted colours than the fronts of the cards. This resulted in a stack of cards where each card was a unique riot of colour on the front with an interesting back texture with easily read details.
