Clever Layered Letterpress Wooden Business Card Design For A Photographer

It might come as a surprise but letterpress can be printed very nicely onto wood just as well as onto traditional card stocks. This example comes from a professional letterpress studio which has been very innovative in their use of this beautiful technique. The front face of the cards is a slice of wood veneer on which the logo and company name has been printed in a dark colour to stand out well from the wood grain. The back of the cards has been printed more traditionally on a cotton card stock and the two layers have then been laminated together to create a unique hybrid card of wood and paper.
