Clever 3D Letterpress Business Card Design
Business cards which invite the client to make or do something with their hands are always hard to resist. This one has a particularly clever and elegant design which, with only a few well placed cuts, allows the holder of the card to transform it from a flat piece into a surprisingly accurate rendition of a famous furniture design. The chair it represents was designed by Gerald Summers in 1934. The business this card was designed for is a furniture store in Marylebone, London. The card was designed by Richard C Evans and printed by specialist letterpress printing company Elegante Press, of Lithuania. It was printed on special triplex 100% cotton card which allows the right kind of flexibility to achieve the nice curves of the design when it's folded correctly.
