Beautiful Typography Business Card Design

This card has been letterpress printed to showcase the gorgeous typography of the design. The card was designed by Yael Miller of Miller Creative as part of a branding and identity project for a Virginia based artisan producer of salami. The printing itself was done by specialist letterpress printers Studio On Fire and has been masterfully done as there were some very tricky aspects to printing this particular design. The most difficult part was accurate printing of the front of the card which has a large area of red with only a little white detail - flooding and spreading of ink can cause a less than desirable result but Studio On Fire have managed to pull it off. After the cards were printed on 110 lb stock they duplexed the stock to get it to 220 lb, making these cards nice and thick. Finally a custom die cut was applied which gives the cards a vintage ticket look - a small but lovely finishing touch.
