DIY Hand Stamped Wooden Business Card Design
Wooden business cards look and feel great and they impart a sense of luxury even though they are relatively inexpensive to produce now that laser cutting services have become easy to obtain. These two designs both use a custom stamp which is then printed by hand onto each card. Pigment inks are used (they come in standard stamp pads and are readily available from craft shops) as the image won't bleed into the wood grain as dye inks can and this also allows the use of an opaque white print. Different types of wood give different textures and effects, here we have maple with black print and walnut with white print. By using a custom stamp a variety of different materials and shapes for the card can be used without having to do large print runs of each.
