WWII Inspired Card
Direct lift of the now-famous (and public domain) “Keep Calm, Carry On” poster from WWII Britain. It was the 3rd of a series of posters by the Ministry of Information, a propaganda platform that produced the messages, written as a short message, a directive from the King to the people. This one which was never printed en masse was intended to be circulated in the event of invasion by the Germans. So I used the theme to make other personal messages from me to whoever I’m giving a card to. And though I’m American, I’m a Brit at heart.
