Subtle Embossed Letterpress Business Card For A Photographer
This subtle and understated business card design uses a combination of a clever logotype with embossing to make a card which has impact without needing to resort to bright colours or gimmicks to grab attention. The photographer's name has been cleverly deconstructed into two patterns - one, a series of vertical lines and the other made of a repeat of a horizontal line followed by a slash. The vertical lines have been embossed onto the card using the blind press letterpress technique and they are present both visibly and texturally on each side of the card. The other half of the pattern has been printed in a neutral colour scheme and together with the embossed lines the name is now clear.
