Subtle And Understated Edge Painted Letterpress Business Card Design

Business cards don't have to be loud and colourful to be effective. These cards were made for a lifestyle and furnishing store and the style of the cards needed to reflect the style and taste of the business owners. The cards have been letterpress printed on a type of thick card which is usually used for binding hardcover books. The material has an earthy and natural feel and the company name has been printed in bold lettering as a blind press, which has kept the understated look. Black edge painting adds contrast - the use of the thick card stock means that edge painting is very effective on these cards.
