I like the raised white pentagon, a nice touch by Studio On Fire, btw was the type handset or also another plate?

is there a way to get the same level of impression on both sides of the paper?

Almost everything we print is photo polymer plates. If hand set type were printed with that much impression, it would be smashed.

Light Impression can be had on both sides without much show through. If you want heavy impression on both sides and no show through, we must print them on separate sheets and paste them back to back. Custom pasting (duplexing) adds much additional cost.

cheers, I’ve just visited a local letterpress with a couple of Heidelberg machines and they confirmed that heavy impressions has to be done on a plates.

I see what you mean about the impressions showing through, even your Ocean House stationery with moderate impression was showing through on the other side.

btw, congrats on the How Design top 10 list!!!
