Retro Style Letterpress Die Cut Coaster Business Card

The owners of these business cards are designers so it's no surprise that they came up with a nifty card for themselves. The cards have been letterpress printed on a nice thick card stock which lends itself well to being die-cut into a coaster shape. The coaster theme meshes well with the company name and the design itself has a retro feel of a 60's beer coaster. Just two colours have been used on this card, cleverly layered to produce a third, darker colour in areas which required shading, giving the design a little more dimension. This great design won a 2011 AIGA Cleveland Design Award and an award by HOW + Print Color in Design.
