Gorgeous Typography On A Gold Foil Stamped And Edge Painted Business Card
Studio Sol designs wedding invitations and when they had their business cards printed they wanted to demonstrate to their potential clients the high quality of their printed work. The cards feature beautiful and striking typography as the frontispiece which has been perfectly accented with a little gold foil. The main logo has been debossed (where the image is imprinted deeply into the paper), a process which causes a texture to occur on the reverse of the paper. Sometimes this can be a useful feature but in this instance they wanted the back of the cards to be plain. So the backs of the cards have been printed on a matching turquoise card stock which has then been laminated to the front card stock. This has had the added benefit of making the finished cards extra thick which made them perfect candidates for finishing with turquoise edge painting.
