Fresh Silkscreen And Letterpress Business Card Design

For this design two printing techniques were needed. Letterpress was used on the front of the card and gives the lovely effects that letterpress does - that delightful texture which is imprinted into the thick cardstock which provides and extra dimension to the cards. On the back of the cards the design called for a large inked area which is something that letterpress doesn't handle well, potentially causing buckling of the paper from so much ink used in the process. So the printer switched to silkscreen for the back of the cards, using their extensive experience with a variety of techniques to get the best of both worlds and produce a professional result.
