DIY Hand Stamped Watercolour Business Card For A Boutique Stationery Designer
These beautiful business cards show a great way to do a DIY personalised card. The cards are made of watercolour paper which, besides being the best paper to use these paints on (to prevent curling and warping) is a high quality stock with a lovely feel and texture. Each card has then been painted with a selection of colours which work well together to give that dreamy watercolour look. Once they've dried a custom stamp is used to print over the top using a black pigment ink. The pigment ink takes longer to dry than the common dye inks but is less prone to bleeding and sits over the top of the watercolour to give a truly opaque printing result. The process is simple, which allows for home production on a reasonably large scale, but still gives a gorgeous effect with every card being unique and demonstrating to clients a level of personal care and commitment.
