Creative Personalised Watercolour Letterpress Business Card Design

These lovely, simple letterpress business cards have been given a personal touch which makes each one unique. The cards have been printed with a blind deboss in which the printing plate has no ink on it and only the impression of the plate makes the image on the paper. In this case some white ink was actually used on the plate as this helps to make the deboss effect a little more clear. After printing, various watercolours were painted on to the cards, a technique which works well here as the type of paper used in letterpress printing (usually thick 100% cotton stocks) takes watercolour very well without too much warping.
