Beautifully Patterned Edge Painted Letterpress Business Card

This business card design makes great use of contrast in pattern and texture. The front of the card has a large block of colour and the logo prominently displayed. In contrast, the back of the card consists solely of a complicated pattern. To keep the card from becoming busy or confusing just one colour has been used as the palette. This keeps a consistency throughout the design even though the front and back are quite different stylistically. The cards have been letterpress printed, a technique which adds texture to the cards. They've also been nicely finished off with matching edge painting, a technique which works best on extra thick cards like these ones.
