Amazingly Life Like Leaf Style Business Card Design

These amazing business cards look like they've been printed on a real dried leaf but it's actually clever printing techniques which give the effect. The leaf design works in a way you might not expect - the life-like texture of the leaf comes from the cardstock itself, which is an unbleached naturally coloured thick kraft stock. The leaf veins have been printed in white ink and the overall result is very realistic. In order to achieve the look the design had to be run through the printer twice so that the ink would be opaque enough. Since these cards were letterpress printed this would have required some excellent registration skills to make sure the design came out clearly!
